HER STORY
Aelara’s journey did not begin with prophecy, glory, or the promise of becoming something extraordinary.
It began at home.
A young Draenei priest learning to trust her faith, her instincts, and herself, Aelara stepped beyond the familiar shores of Azuremyst believing the road ahead would be simple: help where she was needed, learn what the world had to teach her, and find her place within it.
The world had other plans.
What began as a quiet journey carried her through Bloodmyst, into dangers she had never expected to face, and eventually far beyond the islands she knew. Along the way, she found two companions who would change the shape of that journey entirely: Taren, a guarded ranger whose path crossed hers almost by chance, and Lumen, the fiercely loyal mana saber who rarely leaves her side.
Together, they crossed the sea and continued onward into Darkshore, where something darker began to reveal itself.
Strange encounters. Warnings that raised more questions than answers. A corrupted shard that should have been nothing more than an object—but feels increasingly connected to something much larger.
And somewhere along the way, Aelara stopped simply traveling through the world.
She became part of a story unfolding within it.
She does not yet know where that story leads, why her path seems to be drawing her toward forces she does not understand, or what will be asked of her when the truth finally emerges.
For now, Aelara continues forward the only way she knows how: with faith, with compassion, and with Taren and Lumen beside her.
Her journey is still being written.
THE JOURNEY SO FAR
AZUREMYST ISLE
WHERE IT BEGANAelara's journey began among the familiar lands of Azuremyst. What started as a young priest answering calls for help became her first real step beyond the life she knew.
BLOODMYST ISLE
BEYOND THE FAMILIARThe road carried Aelara to Bloodmyst, where the dangers became greater and the world began to feel much larger. It was here that her path continued to change—and the companions beside her became part of the journey rather than chance encounters along the way.
ACROSS THE SEA
LEAVING HOME BEHINDEventually, there was no simple road back. Aelara, Taren, and Lumen boarded a ship and left the islands behind, crossing the open sea toward an unfamiliar land and whatever waited beyond it.
DARKSHORE
SOMETHING IS WRONGDarkshore was supposed to be another step forward.
Instead, there were warnings. Strange discoveries. A corrupted shard. And the growing sense that what Aelara has stumbled into is not confined to a single road—or a single place.
Whatever is happening, the journey has changed.
And Aelara is only beginning to understand how deeply she may be connected to it.
COMPANIONS
TAREN
THE RANGERWhat began as an unexpected crossing of paths has become something Aelara has learned to rely upon.
Taren is guarded where Aelara is open, cautious where she is willing to trust, and often the first to recognize danger before she realizes it is there. He does not always explain what he knows—or what he fears—but when the road becomes uncertain, he remains beside her.
Their journey has given Aelara glimpses of the man behind those defenses.
There are still parts of Taren's story she does not know.
She has stopped believing that means she never will.

THE MANA SABERLumen is more than Aelara's companion.
He is her constant.
Fiercely protective and unusually perceptive, the mana saber often seems to understand what Aelara needs before she does. Whether the road is peaceful or danger is closing in, Lumen is rarely more than a few steps from her side.
No explanation has ever been necessary between them.
Some bonds simply are.
