THE SERIES
Chronicles of Aelara is an episodic fantasy series following Aelara, a young Draenei priest, as she leaves the familiar shores of Azuremyst and discovers a world far larger—and far more dangerous—than the one she has always known.
Alongside Taren and his mana saber, Lumen, each chapter follows their journey through Azeroth as new places, unexpected allies, and growing dangers begin to shape their path.
What begins as one young priest's journey is slowly becoming something much bigger.
THE STORY SO FAR
Aelara’s journey began on Azuremyst Isle, where what should have been a familiar path quickly became something more. Her travels carried her beyond home to Bloodmyst, where new dangers—and new companions—began to shape the road ahead.
With Taren and Lumen beside her, Aelara crossed the sea toward the ancient lands of the night elves, passing through Darnassus before continuing into the shadowed forests of Darkshore.
Now, something is changing.
Strange corruption has begun to surface, and fragments of something neither Aelara nor her companions fully understand are appearing along their path. What once felt like a journey into the wider world is beginning to feel like a path leading toward something waiting in the dark.
BEHIND THE CHRONICLES
Chronicles of Aelara began with a simple idea: take one character’s journey through Azeroth and turn it into a story told one chapter at a time.
Each episode is built piece by piece—from writing the story and planning individual scenes to creating the characters, environments, voices, and final cinematic moments. AI-assisted tools are part of that creative process, but every episode begins with an idea, a decision, and a story that has to fit into the larger journey.
What started as an experiment has grown into an ongoing world, with its own characters, mysteries, continuity, and a community following along as the story unfolds.
And somewhere along the way, it stopped feeling like a little project and started becoming Chronicles of Aelara.
THE CREATOR
I didn’t start Chronicles of Aelara with a background in filmmaking, animation, or any real experience creating something like this. I had an idea, decided I wanted to see where it could go, and dove in anyway.
What started as following one character’s journey through Azeroth quickly became learning how to write scenes, build characters, create environments, edit episodes, and somehow convince AI that no, the scene does not need another random person wandering through it.
A lot of this project has been learning as I go. Every episode teaches me something new, and every mistake usually turns into figuring out a better way to do it the next time.
I still don’t know exactly what Chronicles of Aelara will eventually become. It has already grown far beyond what I imagined when I started.
For now, I’m just going to keep creating it one episode at a time and see where the journey takes us.
